Record Drawings Verification Surveys

After the completion of a project there is a responsibility to provide accurate as installed or record drawings of the services installation in its completed state. When an accurate representation of the services installation is provided to the client this also ensures that the client could benefit from efficient and cost effective future facilities management.

RECORD DRAWINGS FROM CLIENT MARK-UPS

An accurate record of the building services are marked up on a master set of drawings by the project team during installation. These mark-ups are then issued to CAD SERVICES very close to the end of the project programme to enable us to update the original CAD files to reflect the completed installation. Surveys and accurate record drawings provide the client with:

  • An up-to-date record of the completed or existing installation
  • Incorporation of any changes made on older buildings that were not recorded during the building life span
  • An excellent starting point to any future project

VERIFICATION SURVEYS FOR RECORD DRAWINGS

Its often the case with older buildings that the record drawings are not up-to-date and in many cases not even available. CAD SERVICES are often commissioned to attend site and carry out extensive surveys of an existing services installation. The survey information is then translated into CAD format and the client is provided with an up-to-date record of the installation in digital format.
